The main tour operators are Thomson Holidays who, along with First Choice & Portland, are part of the TUI group. Then you have the Thomas Cook group which includes, among others, Thomas Cook Holidays, Airtours & Direct Holidays. Cosmos, which includes Monarch holidays, is a long standing UK tour operator.
After the main players there are many others with whom you can book package holidays or just flights and/or accommodation. These would include Alpharooms, Travel Republic, Low Cost Holidays, Onthebeach, Icelolly, Holidaysdirect etc. etc.
